My Bachelor’s in Science (Psychology) in University College Dublin (UCD), laid the groundwork for a lifelong interest in the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviour and how evidence-based practice can help support child learning and child and adolescent mental health.

Higher Diploma in Education

As part of my Higher Diploma in Education from UCD, I worked as a secondary school math and science teacher in Dublin and Wicklow, while also teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher in University College Dublin's Applied Language Centre.

DECAP (Psychology)

Doctorate in Child Psychology

I earned my PhD in Psychology from Queen's University in Belfast, with a focus on both reading and literacy interventions as well as trauma support for children affected by war and conflict in low and middle income countries.
